Dear Members of the FAO European Cooperative Research Network on Flax and other Bast Plants,

Ref.: The delivery of the EUROFLAX Bulletin No 14

Following the recommendation of the FAO Regional Office for Europe in Rome, we are delivering most of the EUROFLAX bulletins by e-mail.

Our experience teaches us, that the bulletin could be too massive for most of e-mail boxes (it has got several color pictures), so we are delivering the bulletin without photos, as zip file.

Those, who are interested and are able to obtain bulletin with pictures (8MB) let us know and we will send you the e-mail version with all photos and logo.

The delay is caused by our attempts to find valuable contributions to the bulletin. You are welcome to submit your ideas, reports and information for the next issue.

Looking forward to your further co-operation and new contributions to the next issue of the bulletin. By that time we will try to gain new set of statistical data.

We included the program of the 2nd Global Workshop in Bulgaria to be held soon-on 3-6 June 2001, to let you know the content of the Proceedings which will be printed by 1 June at the Institute of Natural Fibres, Poznan, Poland. The program experiences last minute changes but we tried to include all submitted texts.
