Struggling fatty acid market

Weak demand, higher raw material and energy costs combined with thin margins: the fatty acids market continues to struggle. Price increases are again foreseen in order to try to restore and compensate for lost margins. Nevertheless most producers say they are seeing small signs of recovery in general demand this year. And fats and oils prices are expected to come down by next year.
