At the Techtextil North America fair in May 2010 in Atlanta, GA/USA, the italian monofilament producer Sider Arc SpA, Cornaredo (MI), presented the new PLA development Biolene Ingeo (diameter range 0.065 to 0.50 mm).
Initially developed for the medical field, PLA monofilaments now have a wider range of technical applications, such as filtration.
