Polenghi LAS has developed and launched the first biobased bottle in Europe

This biobased bottle is extrusion-blow-molded and has been manufactured with the help of NatureWorks LLC, the producer of Ingeo bioplastic that is made from renewable plant materials.

By switching from the polyolefin resin into Ingeo bioplastic towards packaging 10 million units of bottles of the bio-organic type of lemon juices, Polenghi will be conserving 1,000 oil barrels while reducing CO₂ emissions to the extent of 126 tons.
