nova experts introduced: Nicolas Hark (M.Sc.Agricultural Economics)
Nicolas joined the nova-Institute team in April 2020 as a staff scientist. Having a background in agriculture, economics and policies he supports the Economy & Policy team in matters like regulation and policy analysis, market analysis, research, and project management. In the context of his background he is involved in various industry and EU projects (Horizon 2020) regarding the bio-based economy and developments in this field.
Background and expertise
During his bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Sciences at the University of Bonn he specialized in economics for two semesters. Subsequently, he focused on policy and regulation, market research, resource management and economic subjects during his master’s degree in Agricultural Economics at the Humboldt University of Berlin.
