Lambert is First in US to Use Bio-Friendly De-Icing Fluid

Since Februar: ATS used Kilfrost DFSustain Type 1 bio-propanediol for its de-icing operations

Lambert-St Louis International Airport is the first in the United States to use a new bio-based de-icing fluid that is more environmentally-friendly and cost-effective for carriers.

Airport Terminal Services (ATS), which de-ices around 30% of STL’s commercial traffic, began using Kilfrost DFSustain Type 1 bio-propanediol for its de-icing operations in February.
