China issued its 2004 and 2005 tariff quotas for 3 major oils. The quotas on palm, soyabean and rapeseed for 2004 will be 2.7M, 3.1M and 1.1M mt respectively. The tariff for imports within quota will be 9%, and 22% for imports exceeding quota.
