Braskem has renewed its contract with Sojitz Pla-Net for the supply of the I’m GreenT Green Polyethylene. The contract between the two companies involves the use of the resin in a broad portfolio of products that will continue to be sold in Japan and the Asia-Pacific region.
The partnership, which has been in place since 2012, will increase the availability of renewable products in the region, serving more than 100 customers and different markets, such as convenience stores, household products, and logistics. The main goal of Sojitz is to promote the advantages of Green Plastic and the benefits brought by the resin to transformers and consumers.
For Braskem, the partnership is important to reaffirm its purpose of internationalization and expansion of the market by investing in increasingly sustainable operations.
