The European Patent Office dedicates the video “Bio-Plastics pioneer in Europe” to Catia Bastioli

An important recognition for Novamont’s Research and Development activity

“Bio-Plastics pioneer in Europe”, this is the title of the video developed by the European Patent Office and dedicated to Catia Bastioli and her research projects.

To celebrate the European Inventor Award’s tenth year, that will be held on 11th June in Paris, the European Patent Office has created a retrospective focused to all the winners and the impact of their inventions on society today.

Since 2006, the EPO’s European Inventor Award has recognized inventors, researchers and entrepreneurs who have made a special contribution to social, technological and economic progress in Europe.

Catia Bastioli won in 2007 the award “European Inventor of the Year” in the category “SMEs/research” for her innovation in the field of bioplastics. An important recognition for Novamont’s Research and Development activity.
