The Standing Committee on Agricultural Research (SCAR) regularly organizes a foresight exercise to support the formulation of research policy by the EU and member states

The aim of the current exercise is to identify emerging research questions and to anticipate future innovation challenges that can support the implementation of the Bioeconomy Strategy for Europe. Particularly, it will explore the interactions between the primary sector and the bioeconomy. This survey is designed to identify and assess the key dilemmas and constraints underlying these interactions, as perceived by different stakeholders.
