The REFERTIL (289785) Collaborative project is co-funded by the European Commission, Directorate General for Research, within the 7th Framework Programme of RTD, Theme 2 – Food, Agriculture and Fisheries, and Biotechnology.
The REFERTIL project is also providing a strong policy support for the European Commission (DG Industry & Enterprise) in the revision of the Fertiliser Regulation (Reg. EC No 2003/2003), and the possible inclusion of biochar – as organic fertilizer (ABC animal Bone biochar) and soil additive (plant based biochars).
Furthermore the REFERTIL will support for policy makers for the revision of relevant policies, while setting up future common bio-waste recycling targets, common quality standard requirements for bio-waste treatment, compost and bio-char quality and trading requirements.
REFERTIL is asking for participating in a questionnaire about Biochar and Compost.
The purpose is to determine the possible market for Biochar and improved Compost products in relation to the EU FERTILIZER REGULATION revision. The questionnaire should take no more than 15 minutes to complete. Responses to the survey are anonymous and all completed survey material is strictly confidential.
