European Bioplastics’ annual market data update
The market data update 2016 has been compiled in cooperation with nova-Institute
Berlin, 30 November 2016. The results of European Bioplastics’ annual market data update, presented today at the 11th European Bioplastics Conference in Berlin, confirm a stable growth of the global bioplastics industry. “The market is predicted to grow by 50 percent over the coming years despite the low oil price,” says François de Bie, Chairman of European Bioplastics.

Open-Bio project launches database showcasing bio-based products for public procurement
Bio-based product suppliers are invited to join the database
The database presents various bio-based products which are relevant for public procurers and sorted by application area, product type and Common Procurement Vocabulary Code. In the database, users find information about the bio-based content of products, sustainability, functionality and end-of-life aspects, such as biodegradability. Claims are supported by references to standards, technical sheets and labels.

Die Marktdaten 2016 wurden in Zusammenarbeit mit dem nova-Institut erhoben
Berlin, 30 November 2016. European Bioplastics stellte heute seine aktuelle Marktdatenauswertung im Rahmen der 11. European Bioplastics Konferenz in Berlin vor. Demnach setzt sich der positive Wachstumstrend weiterhin fort. „Der Markt für Biokunststoffe wird trotz der niedrigen Ölpreise mittelfristig um 50 Prozent wachsen“, teilte François de Bie, Vorstandsvorsitzender von European Bioplastics mit.

CLIB International Conference 2017 – Performance products via game-changing technologies
