Kilfrost showcases sustainable heat transfer fluid at Chillventa 2012

The global leader in de/anti-icing solutions for the aviation industry, has used its in-house research and development facilities to create a high performance, bio-derived heat transfer fluid. Cooltrans^Sustain CTS is derived from a fully sustainable source, making it a greener alternative to traditional monoethylene glycol and monopropylene glycol-based heat transfer products. Cooltrans^Sustain CTS is non-hazardous and can be used at lower operating temperatures.

As part of the company’s growing presence in the refrigeration market, Kilfrost will be exhibiting its Cooltrans range which can be used in commercial and industrial cooling applications. Gary Lydiate, Chief Executive Officer of Kilfrost, said: “The Cooltrans range of inhibited heat transfer fluids has been developed specifically for secondary refrigerant applications. Attending Chillventa 2012 represents a step change in our involvement in the refrigeration market.”

The Kilfrost team will be showcasing their range of refrigeration products in Hall 7, Stand 303 at Chillventa 2012 in Nuremberg, Germany.
