Crompton Corp. has increased prices for all grades of refined glycerine by 10c. per pound and Kemstrene kosher glycerine by 12c/lb. Uniqema also raised its Pricerine prices, 10c/lb per pound for non-kosher glycerine and 12c/lb per pound for kosher glycerine. As from 1st Feb, Cognis too has increased the price of animal based glycerine by 10c/lb to 70c/lb and kosher quality refined glycerine by 15c/lb to 85c/lb both in bulk delivered customer.
