GFBiochemicals, the largest producer of levulinic acid directly from biomass and at an industrial scale, has won the Bio-Based Product Innovation of the Year award at the prestigious World Bio Market (‘WBM’) awards, dedicated to recognise and celebrate the companies and individuals who are driving the bioeconomy.

WBM awards are promoted by World Bio Market, the leading global gathering of the decision makers driving growth and innovation throughout the bioeconomy held in Amsterdam on March 14 – 17.
Co-Founders Pasquale Granata and Mathieu Flamini were also shortlisted for the WBM Bio-based Business Person of the Year, while GFBiochemicals was also shortlisted in the Bio-based Brand of the Year category.
