EPI applauds UK study that finds plastic bags unfairly targeted

Company's TDPA (Totally Degradable Plastic Additive) using oxo-biodegradable technology to accelerate degradation process up to 10 times faster

EPI Environmental Products Inc., developers of of technology that accelerates the plastic biodegrading process, today applauded the latest study by the United Kingdom’s Environmental Agency (EA) that finds plastic bags are negatively targeted as being environmentally unfriendly.

Entitled the “Life Cycle Assessment of Supermarket Carrier Bags,” the report concludes that the lightweight, commonly used plastic carrier bags are not the environmental villain that they are often made out to be.
