DuPont Tate & Lyle Bio Products LLC announced the expansion of geographic coverage for its 100 percent bio-based product, Zemea® propanediol. The company has appointed the IMCD Group as distributor for Zemea® for Australia, New Zealand, Turkey, Poland and South Africa.
Zemea® is a certified natural ingredient developed for use in cosmetics, personal care and home cleaning products. It is a sustainable alternative to petroleum-based glycols where the product’s lack of skin irritation, improved moisturization and excellent sensorial attributes are benefits. Zemea® has been recognized by Ecocert ™ and the Natural Products Association as an ingredient of natural origin.
In addition to the newly authorized countries in Australia, New Zealand, Turkey, Poland and South Africa, IMCD also manages distribution of Zemea® in France, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Belgium, the Netherlands, Norway, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Luxembourg, Russia, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
