CO<sub>2</sub> Solutions Announces Funding from the National Research Council Canada

$348,000 for CO2 Solutions’ technology in enzyme evolution and enzyme management process optimization

CO2 Solutions Inc., an innovator in the field of enzyme-enabled carbon capture technology, today announced it will receive $348,000 in non- reimbursable funding from the National Research Council (NRC) Canada’s Industrial Research Assistance Program (IRAP). The funding will be used to support the ongoing development of CO2 Solutions’ technology, including enzyme evolution and enzyme management process optimization work and will be disbursed over the next twelve months.

“This funding demonstrates our ability to secure financial backing from multiple sources in order to develop and commercialize our low-cost carbon capture technology,” said Glenn Kelly, President and Chief Executive Officer of CO2 Solutions. “NRC-IRAP’s commitment enables CO2 Solutions to drive further optimization of our technology for commercial application.”
