Cardia Bioplastics, a subsidiary of SECOS Group Limited (ASX: SES), is pleased to announce the launch of its Cardia Bioproducts website. The new e-commerce website sells the new Cardia Compostable and Biohybrid™ product range to retail and wholesale customers.
With strong global demand from businesses and households for finished sustainable products and bags, an increasing number of retailers stocking a complete range of environmentally friendly waste bags, Cardia recognised the opportunity in selling its new range available on-line.
As Australian Councils have expanded their uptake of Cardia Compostable kitchen tidy bags for their organic waste diversion programmes, Cardia has increased direct sales of its whole range of compostable waste management products to households, businesses and retailers in these regions. With the launch of the Bioproducts e-commerce website consumers, businesses or councils can now buy bags directly from Cardia.
The Cardia Bioproducts website will sell compostable bags ranging from produce bags, kitchen tidy bags, various sizes of household waste bags, shopping bags, garden bags, nappy bags to dog waste bags. The new website will also sell a selection of Cardia’s innovative Biohybrid™ products.
Cardia Bioplastics Chief Executive Officer, Dr Frank Glatz stated, “We are very excited to be launching our new Cardia Bioproducts website. Over the past 12 months requests from consumers and businesses for Cardia bags has increased substantially. In response to receiving daily calls we took the steps to develop our e-commerce website. Strategically and logically, it became a natural sales channel extension after launching our Cardia Bioproducts bag range.”
Dr Glatz continues, “The new website sells our environmentally friendly range of compostable garbage bags, shopping, garden and dog waste bags. Fully composting within 12 weeks, these bags assist in diverting organic waste from landfill in an increasing number of regions across Australia and the world.
With our compostable bag range now available directly to households, businesses and councils, consumers can now make a quality sustainable choice and implement environmentally friendly waste management practices. ”
