Buzz of BIO to recognize the most innovative companies at the 2014 BIO Investor Forum™

Nominations are now open for the Buzz of BIO at the 2014 BIO Investor Forum. The Buzz of BIO contest recognizes highly innovative companies in the biotech sector and helps position these companies to develop strategic partnerships within the industry. Ten biotechs will be nominated in each of two categories – Early Stage Entrepreneurs and Late Stage Leaders.

Early-stage companies looking for their next financing round or late-stage private companies hoping to make the valuable connections needed to take their product to the next phase should take advantage of this unparalleled opportunity.

During the contest, industry peers will be voting for companies they want to see and hear from at the BIO Investor Forum. One winner from each of the two categories will receive complimentary conference registration, a Company Presentation and promotion to industry leaders including a spotlight in BioCentury Extra.

Only 20 nominations will be accepted in total, and must be submitted by 5:00 pm ET, August 19th, 2014. Voting will begin August 25th, 2014. Winners will be announced September 2nd, 2014.

Taking place October 7-8 at the Palace Hotel in San Francisco, this year’s BIO Investor Forum program will include plenary sessions, business roundtables, therapeutic workshops and fireside chats featuring respected industry veterans discussing the latest trends in biotech. The conference also features presentations by over 100 biotech companies poised to join the growth “watch list” in 2015, as well as a number of nonprofit and venture philanthropy organizations.
