The nova-Institute carried out this study in collaboration with renowned international experts from the field of bio-based polymers. Two years after the first market study came out, nova-Institute is set to publish a complete update in February 2015. The development and the annual growth rate of production capacity for bio-based polymers (between 10-20% CAGR) is impressive in comparison to petrochemical plastics (between 3-4% CAGR.
