American Ingredients Inc has increased prices for its food and industrial glycerol ester product line since July 1st. Distilled monoglycerides increased 8 to 10 c/lb and monodiglycerides increased 6 to 8 c/lb, depending upon the product type. According to the company, the price changes are necessitated by major cost increases in edible fats, glycerine and operating expenses.
